Artemis recording artist Sugarcult will release ‘Back To The Disaster – A Film About Sugarcult’ on November 15th. The hour and a half documentary chronicles the history of the band, its members, and their 2004-2005 United States, UK, and European tours in support of their immensely popular ‘Palm Trees And Power Lines’ album. A labor of love for the band and a love letter to its fans, the film also includes footage and band antics from their tour of Japan with Green Day, in-depth interviews, behind the scenes footage, live concert performances, music videos, and tour scrapbook featuring clips from each band member’s personal collection of tour photographs. ‘Back To The Disaster’ is also packaged with a live nine song blistering performance from the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, NJ featuring tracks from ‘Palm Trees And Power Lines’ as well as their 2001 debut ‘Start Static.’
Sugarcult has also established a Mobile Fan Club in advance of the release which gives fans special access to the band. Fans will be the first to receive text updates regarding live dates, local retail and radio promotions, television appearances, and much more via wireless messaging.
