Scott Stapp has been slapped with a lawsuit by the other members of his project Art of Anarchy. The band is claiming that Stapp was paid to appear as a member of the band for live shows and promotional appearance but has refused to take part.
According to the suit, Stapp was paid $200k for services to the band, including a scheduled photo shoot which he refused to attend. The band says they also lost their recording contract after Stapp's participation fell into question.
"Despite [the band's] repeated and specific directions to Stapp, and Vice's entreaties for his cooperation, Stapp repeatedly and continually shirked his contractual obligations. If Stapp had dedicated himself to ART OF ANARCHY with the same fervor that he dedicated to his solo career, ART OF ANARCHY would have had a successful concert tour and its record contract would not have been terminated," the complaint states.
