Pearl Jam surprised the audience during their headlining set at the NOS Alive festival in Lisbon, Portugal, on July 14, by bringing out Jack White for a guest appearance.
According to Rolling Stone, White played multiple solos on the guitar, joining Eddie Vedder and the band for a cover of Neil Young's "Rockin' in the Free World."
Earlier, the band payed a tribute to White by weaving the iconic riff from White Stripes' "Seven Nation Army." Pearl Jam reportedly played a 24-song set in all that night, including a five-song encore that opened with a performance of John Lennon's "Imagine."
Before Pearl Jam's act that day, White was at the main stage, playing with his band. White's appearance at a Pearl Jam show on Saturday was the first since he played "Of the Earth," alongside the band at Third Man Nashville gig in 2016.
