Panic! At the Disco frontman Brendon Urie has come out as pansexual in a new interview with Paper magazine.
"I'm married to a woman and I'm very much in love with her but I'm not opposed to a man because to me, I like a person," Urie states. "Yeah I guess you could qualify me as pansexual because I really don't care. I guess this is me coming out as pansexual."
"If a person is great, then a person is great," Urie adds. "I just like good people, if your heart's in the right place. I'm definitely attracted to men. It's just people that I am attracted to."
Panic! at the Disco hit No. 1 on the Billboard Artist 100 chart this week for the first time in their career, thanks to their sixth studio album, Pray for the Wicked, which launched at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
Pray for the Wicked debuts at No. 1 with 180,000 equivalent album units earned in the tracking week ending June 28, according to Nielsen Music, scoring the group its second No. 1. The band previously peaked at No. 3 on the Artist 100 in February 2016, when prior LP Death of a Bachelor became its first No. 1 album.
The Artist 100, which launched in July 2014, measures artist activity across key metrics of music consumption, blending album and track sales, radio airplay, streaming and social media fan interaction to provide a weekly multi-dimensional ranking of artist popularity.
