Green Day have shared a new video for their song "Meet Me On The Roof," featuring "Stranger Things" star Gaten Matarazzo.

The song is from the band's 13th album Father of All...., which was released last Friday.

The video, directed by Brendan Walter and Greg Yagolnitzer, shows Matarazzo, playing Dustin Henderson, pining for a girl who has a crush on motorbike stuntman Willie Jackson, played by Billie Joe Armstrong. To win the girl's heart, Matarazzo cooks up a plan for a rooftop stunt to exhibit his motorcycle heroics.

Armstrong appears when Matarazzo's bike sputters out and lends his Harley to the young man to help him pull off the trick and earn a kiss from his crush.

"The political punks - shock horror! - eschew the politics and have a good old knees-up," NME's Andrew Trendell wrote in a review of the band's new album.

"Green Day have been bold and brazen and free of pretense," he added. "Their intent is laid bare when comparing two of the band's record sleeves: 'American Idiot' was a heart like a hand grenade, 'Father Of All' is a unicorn puking a rainbow. Don't try to make sense of it. Just enjoy."
