Alternative Addiction Podcast - June 14, 2019

Image

We've got another podcast for the month of June featuring songs from The Runaway Club, Northern National, The Maine & more.

We've got another podcast for you this June. The new podcast features some great content.

The Runaway Club: Alan Poettcker's The Runaway Club recently released a new single called "Breaking Up." The Vancouver artist is looking to follow up his ridiculously good 2016 release Apollo.

Recent Rumors: Recent Rumors' latest song is called "Young" and it follows up some amazing music released last year by the band including "Almost Home" and "Wherever You Are."

No, This Is Patrick!: If you were looking for a name for a pop punk band that doesn't really fit with the genre, would you look to something weird.... like Spongebob? There's more to these guys than their name though, they're pop punk with very cool edge.

The Eiffels: This four-piece from the UK makes fun alternative pop music that sticks in your head. They've got lots of exciting things on their schedule for 2019, no doubt a new single will come within the next few months.

I, The Mountain: I, The Mountain has been around since 2012 but they've recently really come into their own with their new music. Their latest single, "The Boat" is a tremendous song that was produced by Simon Ward from The Strumbellas.

Flagship Romance: Shawn Fisher and Jordyn Jackson are Flagship Romance and they're really good. Shawn's been making music for a number of years, either as a solo artist or as the frontman of Son of a Bad Man, but when he met Jordyn their chemistry as a couple transferred to their music seamlessly. We've got their new song on the podcast, "(Love Is) Running Me Ragged"

Northern National: We interviewed Kanne from the band this week and we'll be featuring them heavily on Alternative Addiction next week. They released a new single this week called "Half-Hearted Love" but we talked with Kanne about "Not All Family Is Blood" and featured that on the podcast.

The Maine: The Maine released a new album called You Are OK earlier this year and the Arizona band is still going strong. They're playing shows with Mayday Parade and they're doing a ton of other things too. They were cool enough to let us use their song "I Feel It All Over" on the show.
