The All-American Rejects have reportedly spent much of 2010 writing new material and announced this week they are ready to hit the studio to record their fourth studio album.
""So, we have been writing relentlessly for the last year and are hitting the studio to lay down the tracks for our fourth record soon," says Rejects front man Tyson Ritter. "My last year has been devoted to music and my charity, Don't Hate On Haiti."
With the band heading into the studio, Tyson has dreamed up a contest as a way to help raise money for the charity. Whoever raises the most money for http://don'thateonhaiti.org by April 1st of this year will win the following prizes: A one-on-one skype session with you and the band in the studio, a guitar signed by the band, and a Don't Hate on Haiti shirt signed by the band.
The band has set up a PO Box to receive donations at: c/o Don't Hate On Haiti, P.O. Box 4084, Santa Monica, CA 90411.
The as of yet untitled fourth album from All-American Rejects is expected to be released later this year.
